Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions, hold a Nebraska Law Enforcement certification, hold a Nebraska Law Enforcement Management certification or be able to complete the class successfully, a valid Nebraska driver’s license and be willing to relocate to Oakland, Nebraska. The City of Oakland will provide, full family insurance, retirement package, paid vacation, paid uniform allowance, paid training, take home vehicle, with a starting pay range $26.00 to $30.00 per hour.
